…because it doesn’t matter. In fact, tonight’s game didn’t matter either based on someone snagging all those upsets. Congratulations to “The Plummer,” our Week 10 Winner, with a pot of 1,575. (That is what it says; I did not misspell the profession)
As I predicted, the same group of people called me and texted me this...

Hola Kiddies!
Well, the pot was larger than I had prognosticated: 1,575. Not to shabby for a Thursday due date… and certainly better than the Thursday night game. Ugh. The spreadsheet is posted to the left.
The three most important games are NE-IND, SD-PHI, and KC-OAK, two out of three of which would be worth watching.
One quick...

Hey gang,
I’ve been thinking about a couple things for the last few weeks and debating on the direction in which we should go with the pool. Obviously we have had issues in Abacoa with problems at Rooney’s and lack of follow-through at Jumby Bay. Now comes whatever has been going on over by Paddy Mac’s...

Congratulations to our largest winner EVER, Garrett Post, taking down the pot of 2,480 with a record of 12-1.
On to Week 10! It’s due in three days so get cracking. I do not expect this pot to be anywhere near the size of this last one, but I have been wrong before. My guess is...

I admit it - I fell asleep during the Eagles-Cowboys game last night after barely sleeping this week. Now - 15 hours later - I’ll post what I said I would post.
Possibilities for tonight’s game to take home the entire record pot of 2,480:
Pittsburgh
2-46 Garrett Post
47+ Chris Rose
Denver
Shaun Smith
No split pots possible; one person is...

The possibilities for tonight are in the post directly below this one. I ALMOST went the entire weekend without someone emailing me thinking they were in the running with too many losses (this is why we have the spreadsheet and full disclosure everyone!), but that did get me looking through the spreadsheet and I did...

Pot is 110, spreadsheet to the left!
We decided awhile ago that if the pot dorpped below 100 we would ditch the NCAA pool altogether, but just as a pot of 90 looked like it was going final, Barry dropped in 5 from Stuart so there will be a Week 7! Start promoting it if you...

What’s up, peeps?! I have the spreadsheet updated (the only update is fixing the amount of no-picks) and the final pot size (which is 1,420.)
Two quick notes… first off, if Todd’s only issue was not picking up some spreadsheets on Saturday night for a pool what was due on Friday, I’d say he did a...

Hi Todd!!! … and everyone else. :-) (For those of you just getting here, scroll down for Todd’s update)
Spreadsheet works just fine; don’t worry about the “no picks;” the important thing is the formulas work. I have a bunch of hidden cells in there; at the end of the second row there are some totals...

Well, it’s Wednesday night and I’m personally finished with the pool for the weekend. I will admit, it feels strange handing it over to someone else. It’s like we’re going out and leaving our baby with a sitter for the first time ever. I have five typed pages here for Todd, complete with emergency phone...

Thank you to Kim at Waterway! While my Bills are being demolished in heart-breaking fashion on Monday night, most of my friends give me crap. Kim gives me a “Go Bills!” on her sheet along with a Buffalo Bills pen/light! I’ll be using it tomorrow to keep track of all my bets! Thank you, Kim! ...

Yes, we finally made it official: on May 8th, at the Nine Inch Nails concert in West Palm, Steve popped the question & Em said yes. Details (very few of them so far, but some!) are available here: http://emilyandstephen.wordpress.com (including more photos of us & the sparkly ring). And before anyone asks, no, Steve does...
